Power Play has extended the interchangeable weighting technology to hybrids. The new tri-port weighting system not only allows for a lower, deeper center-of-gravity and increased MOI, but the three interchangeable weighted screws may be configured to encourage straight, draw, or fade trajectory. Now available through SW to replace your entire set of irons. Conforms with USGA Rules.
Comes preconfigured with three 6-gram weights in each port. Additional weight screws can be purchased.
The Power Play Caiman hybrid is a high-performance option to replace those long, hard-to-hit irons in the bag with some of the latest technological know-how. The pull-face construction utilizes an active maraging face insert welded to the 4-31 stainless body to help increase the spring-like effect and further save weight. Additionally, the score lines are CNC milled rather than cast or stamped into the hard S42 face material. A variable crown thickness (as little as 0.5mm) in the non-stress area of the head, which is the thickness of 5 sheets of paper! This concept was utilized to shift needless weight to a more desirable location deep and low within the head to propel the ball high and land soft. Weights and lofts are normalized so they produce repeatable and predictable distances to the same numbered iron. This makes it easier for the average golfer to fill a particular yardage gap without guessing at which loft to purchase.
Seemingly transitioned hybrids allow a choice between the fairways and easier-to-hit higher launching irons. These can be mixed and matched to provide the ideal set make up. An incredible high percentage of weight is concentrated very low to launch the ball with ease and provide an ultra-solid feel.
The new Acer XK hybrids are based on the most popular hybrid platform in our line, but we added a few new design elements to further improve upon the performance. First, we incorporated a variable face thickness to reduce the perimeter area of the impact area so the entire club face could be more active. This acts to increase the area of forgiveness over a larger portion of the face. Secondly, the crowns were constructed with our exclusive VCT (variable crown technology) that measure as little as 0.5mm thick. All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown was repositioned deep within the head for added stability, feel and added trajectory to hold greens better. Length and lofts were selected to be exact replacements for the same numbered long irons in terms of yardage.
If you thought hybrids were easy to hit, the much expanded Acer XDS 'Wide Sole' Hybrid design offers you much more than current hybrid design. In fact, the design is based on fairway wood parameters that allow for the super high launch characteristics that make these hybrids easy to play. This set gradually decreases the volume or size of the head as the loft is increased and less help is usually needed. The rearward center-of-gravity of this hybrid design is enhanced by the rails at the soleplate to help you power through the grass and prevent 'digging' at impact for better quality contact with the ball. With its leading edge designed well forward of the hosel, you will be able to create more lift and produce higher launch angle thus more distance! This game- improvement set of hybrids will allow you to hit that high arching shot that you've always dreamed of hitting. Engineered for standard iron lengths, the Acer 'Wide Sole' Hybrid also provides you with additional control and accuracy. Be the first to employ these new game-improvement clubs at your course and take your game to a higher level!.

The largest hybrids in the line complements the Mantara family with its distinctive look. Utilizing the same concept as the Mantara family, the square profile moves the center of gravity rearward and creates a higher MOI. Designed to replace traditional #3, 4 and 5-irons, these are large volume clubs for maximum forgiveness on off-center shots. The Mantara hybrids will set up much like a fairway wood with the face forward feature and will have a very neutral or straight ball flight, rather than many draw biased designs offered today. Conforms with USGA Rules.
The XDS Insider fairway woods derive their name from the very subtle visual aligning aids on the crown as well as the shape to encourage one to swing on an inside-out swing path. This is important not only to provide increased distance, but accuracy and a solid feel at impact. Golfers that swing on an outside-in path or sometimes called over the top move end up slicing the ball and losing confidence in their clubs. The Acer XDS Insider fairways were designed to prevent that.
Each numbered fairway wood in this series has a different face angle to help deliver the clubface square upon impact. For the average golfer, the lower the loft and longer the club, the more likely the clubface will be open at impact. But with our Square Optical Alignment System, it provides a “square” appearance to each club and creates a consistent appearance. This eliminates the need to make minor adjustments ball placement in the stance or how the golfer aligns to the target instead of letting the club do what it was intended to do.
While we have explained the Acer XDS Insider has technology you can see, it also has three other features you can’t see. A substantial amount of additional internal weighting was placed deep within the head to provide increased stability and create a higher launch angle. This is only possible by incorporating our exclusive Variable Crown Technology to lighten the crown area. We also have a variable thickness face for more explosive distance and incredible feel at impact.
The shallow face design and 4 way radius sole reduces contact with the turf for any course condition making this series one, if not, the most user-friendly fairway woods on the market today geared for the average golfer.
Finally, an innovative stainless steel fairway series that allows total game management by offering lofts to suit a player’s individual needs! There are three important technological features that make these higher performance clubs. First, we incorporated our variable face thickness to reduce the perimeter area of the impact area so the entire club face could be more active. This acts to increase the area of forgiveness over a larger portion of the face. Secondly, the crowns were constructed with exclusive VCT (variable crown technology) and measure as little as 0.5mm thick. All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown was repositioned deep within the head. Lastly, the wide profile increases the Moment of Inertia. All these features provide for a high launching ball flight with incredible accuracy. Versatility is another word to describe the Acer XK fairways. Multiple lofts are offered including those not commonly found from a strong 3-wood for players who have no problem getting the ball airborne to a high-lofted 9-wood. One addition is a 4-wood for those players wanting just one fairway wood in their bag. This allows you to add an extra wedge or hybrid to your set and stay within the 14 club minimum. Also, our 4-wood is an outstanding solo fairway wood for ladies or seniors looking for the perfect partner to a high-lofted driver.
The Avatar XMOI fairway woods are the epitome of progressive thinking. Built to bridge the gap from the extra large driver to the matching transitional hybrids, the shape is proportionally sized. The 3-wood being the hardest to hit, it is the largest to provide maximum forgiveness. Then the 5 and 7 woods are gradually scaled down to provide more than enough forgiveness. The shallow face, coupled with our VCT (variable crown thickness) places weight low and deep within the head for superior results.
The profile of the Caiman Fairways follows the same unique geometric shape as the matching Caiman driver. Every small detail was thoroughly examined from the squared off heel and toe areas, reduced face progression, decal size and locations to the masking of the paint lines. All of these features are designed to frame the club and assist in alignment to your target. Hireko engineered these fairway woods with a variable crown thickness (as little as 0.5mm which is as little as the thickness of 5 sheets of paper!) All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown of ordinary fairway wood was repositioned deep within the head. This provides you with a high launching ball flight with incredible accuracy.
Why settle for anything less as the Bellissima fairways are dimensionally proportioned to the matching driver and will provide assuredness to get the ball up quickly from the fairway or rough. The thick, heavy sole, shallow face and additional loft make these the most user-friendly lady fairways on the market.
The Dynacraft Dual Milled CNC wedges start with a five step forging process from a billet of soft carbon steel providing that unmistaken feel coveted by the most prestigious golfers in the world. This is indeed a true forging that is not to be construed with form forging using harder 8620 carbon steel that many other companies choose to manufacturer their wedges. Each groove is CNC milled to USGA conforming U-grooves that ensures consistency of both groove width and depth that less sophisticated methods such as stamping or hand grinding cannot. A secondary skim milling operation is performed on the face to create tiny micro-grooves which helps to increase surface roughness and further channel moisture between the ball and clubface for maximum spin. A brilliant high-chrome finish provides the classic look for years of durability and beauty. A thin topline and minimal offset, preferred at address, augment the semi-narrow 4-way camber sole design.
Rarely is there any innovation in wedges today as most take on a classic blade shape that was popular decades ago. While the limited offset aids in alignment and the narrow sole allows for the ability of opening up the blade for flop shots and other creative shots, they do little in the way of providing forgiveness when you are not on your "A" game.
The Acer XC wedge series does possess the thin topline, limited offset and blade-style appearance that golfers have been accustomed to.?But the difference is in the weighting which you cannot see in the address position. The undercut channel redistributes material so the there is more weight lower and more rearward allowing for an increased trajectory and spin to hold greens better. Square grooves offers maximum spin and control on approach shots to and around the greens. See for yourself how the Acer XC wedges can offer golfers of all abilities tour level quality with game improvement features.
The Awesome Professional Open Series 690 is heat treated in a black melonite finish for a unique, non-glare finish and a slightly softer feel. Black melonite is extremely durable and will provide many years of quality play. Conforms with USGA Rules.
